How to upload materials to our site

Dear Members,

We don't allow external linking to materials because most of the file hosting sites are allowing time limited hosting i.e after sometime your file will disappear and your link will be invalid. We are sure that you have looked for some material outside our site and found the links to be broken. We don't want that to happen to our members.
Throughout this post you will learn how to upload files to our site.

FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Go to the section that your file belongs to (Anatomy, ENT, Video Lectures ..etc) then at the top left of the posts table you will see the following













wait for some time .... when the page automatically refreshes itself, it will show your file in the uploaded files section like this:










....CONGRATS..... Your file has been uploaded

i am trying 4 almost 6 times to upload some useful book but unfortunately i couldnt after the waiting time suddenly the DNS servise disconnect with da sudamedic website i don know why is that happen plz inform us !!!!!

well ... i started from 1 gega then when failed trying to upload just 250 mega but still the same problem ... even 100 mega failed and that relle upset me ...so plz if there is any help could be useful..we r trying to upload updated material ...

this msg has been repeated every time i upload materials

please, I have book of 64 MB and I can't upload it... it reaches 100% and after refreshing the page it disappear... help please..

although iam using chrome this problem happened with me with 15mb file pdf format,,

1- may i suggest to inject some javascript that will show visual progressing bar for the upload process? something like"FINE UPLOADER"

2- please clarify the maximum uploading size per file and per post , i mean if not posible to upload 500 mb file it is ok to make it 50mb parts and upload it all to the same post?

3- what is the supported file format that can be uploaded?

There is an error with files >10mb .. we are working on fixing this error now

we will announce when the problem is resolved (hopefully in few hours)

We have tested uploading files, it is working fine for all user levels .. just make sure you are following the steps correctly and report what error are you getting

Iam unable to upload attachments, the option for adding attachment is not there,!!
Options
Poll creation

Disable BBCode
Disable smilies
Do not automatically parse URLs
Attach a signature (signatures can be altered via the UCP)
Notify me when a reply is posted

Thanks for writing to us, in which section are you trying to post your attachment? I have just tested your authorities and found that you can upload normally, you might be trying to post in a section that does not contain attachment will please let us know in which section you are trying and would you please try to post in another section

Hello I have a problem with the upload after attaching and browsing the file I dont get the add to file option please help

Once you have selected the file after browsing, now the site automatically uploads your file (you will see a small green progress bar that will turn in to small green tick mark once the upload is done)

This means your upload is done ..


Please note that some of the above mentioned steps became invalid after the latest improvement and development of the site but he core idea about uploading is just the same ..
