Localized pathological dilatation of blood vessels 1/ Abdominal aortic aneurysm - associated with atherosclerosis .occurs more frequently In male smokers>50 years old. 2/ thorathic aortic aneurysm -associated with hypertension ,cystic necrosis ( marfan's syndrome )

ANP is related from the atria in response to increase blood volume and atrial pressure .causes : generalized vascular relaxation .constrict efferent renal arterioles and dilates afferent arterioles , promoting diuresis and contributing to the escape from aldosterone mechanism

Eisenmenger's syndrome

Eisenmenger's syndrome : incorrected VSD,ASD or PDA.causes compensatory pulmonary vascular hypertrophy which result in progressive pulmonary hypertension .As pulmonary resistance increase the shunt reverse from left - right to right- left which causes late cyanosis
